Horseback holidays with La Scafarda are set in the beautiful Tuscan coastal region near the famous island of Elba. Our trails pass near the small medieval town of Castiglione della Pescaia and we trek through the Maremma National Park and the wild life bird sanctuary dell’Uccellina.
Motorways and trains from Rome in the South and Florence and Pisa in the North lead to Grosseto (approx. 2 hours). Cars can be hired from there by arrangement and it will be a further half an hour to Castiglione della Pescaia.
